Welcome to the official website of the Iron Workers District Council of Texas and the Mid-South States. On behalf of the Iron Workers across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and the Gulf Coast, we thank you for taking the time to visit with us.

The District Councils of Texas and the Mid-South merged in July 2007, and as a result, we look forward to better serving our membership and the ironworking industry.

Our members work extremely hard in a challenging environment for their well-deserved wages and benefits. Our dedication to jobsite safety, productivity, quality craftsmanship and training enables us to serve construction employers and contractors with the most talented work force within the industry. This partnership with employers has a proven record of success within our communities.

We are proud of the excellent work done by union ironworkers. We believe that the schools our children attend, the bridges we cross, the plants and refineries that serve our industrial needs, and the buildings in which we work, shop and worship should all be of quality construction.

As union ironworkers, we dedicate ourselves fully to that quality.
